Jonathan M. Bourgeois wrote JavaBOTL, which was a version of RobotWorld for Java. The current version RobotWorld was written by me, but utilizing many ideas from these two designers.
The notes on RobotWorld were based in part on notes by Jeffrey S. Rosenschein and some ideas of Joseph Bergin.
Eric Roberts of Stanford University gave me the competition idea.
Ideas on the presentation of the labs and training of the lab tutors were provided by Nora Brophy and various publications, including one by J. D. Chase of Radford University.
Ideas on the structure of the course and of the web pages were enthusiastically borrowed from wherever they could be found, apologies if any are unacknowledged.
However, I have to take credit for the many errors that have snuck into the amalgamation of the work of these fine people,
Charlie Daly
